Bag Lady

Trying not to panic, I quickly dropped the wet, soapy dutch oven and ran to the steps when I heard an especially loud "thump, thump, thump, SCREAM!"  Someone had fallen down the stairs.  When I got there, I saw Reagan on the bottom step and about a dozen purses and other items scattered all over the stairs above her.  I hoped she would feel comforted by my sudzy embrace but quickly realized she wasn't crying because of pain but rather the tears were the uncontrolled response to her disappointment.  After some motherly advice from Rylie, Reagan was already out of my arms and collecting her things.  This is a moment or two later...

Item count: 5 purses, 2 necklaces and 2 very important bottles (these managed to stay in her grasp through the fall!)

  1. A girl has her priorities! She knows how to quiet a screaming baby. And apparently she also gets that you must be prepared for any outfit!

BTW - Fancy Nancy purses are a HUGE hit. HUGE. As in we don't leave the house without them!

  2. I have not visited your blog in a while! I am LOVING your photography! SO great! And I have to laugh at this one... Rayna was not immediately my girlie girl but Tessa... oh my! At 16 months she already tries to walk in the plastic princess heels and screams if you think about taking away anything she's got slung over her arm as a purse! Too funny, these girls!
