Cousin Curtis

We were lucky enough to be on Curtis's path as he made his way from Birmingham to San Diego and beyond. We had a great time enjoying conversation, catching up on Transformers 1, playing PS3 and hanging with the girls. Curtis has a remarkable ability to relate to and enjoy kids which made him an instant hit with Rylie. On Wednesday, while driving home from school Rylie asked if Curtis was at home and began cheering and clapping when I responded with yes! She was sad to see him go but was comforted to know Curtis was headed toward good company which includes her cousins, Ashly, Brody, Jordan and Peyton.

Rylie (a born packer and organizer) was enthusiastic about helping Curtis load up his car. In fact, they were outside hard at work before Toby and I were even awake! (note the disks Curtis asked Rylie to help carry...could she be more proud to help or what?)
