I recognize that it is not exactly a good thing to broadcast in the city that loves it Spurs, but I can't resist a blog shout out to the 2009 NBA champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, who took the championship last night in game 5. We've tried to keep our heads high as all of our teams have had "almost" seasons for the past couple of years so it is nice to finally have a win. Maybe this means good things for the Chargers' season ahead...
I guess if Pittsburgh had a basketball team it would have won just like all the other Pittsburgh teams but since they don't I was pulling for you guys!!
